• 1810 : Christian Carl Henschel founds HENSCHEL in Kassell
• 1848 : he first steam locomotive is manufactured
• 1905 :The first electric locomotive is manufactured
• 1925 : The first HENSCHEL lorries and coaches are manufacturedL
• 1938 : AKROS is created in Chambéry by Paul Germain
• 1950 : COSMO is created in Chambéry by Louis Berthollet
              Manufacture of the first presses for aluminium
• 1969 : Manufacture in Kassel of the first HENSCHEL presses
              and shears
• 1976 : HENSCHEL taken over by THYSSEN KRUPP
• 1982 : AKROS taken over by André Payerne
